Productive weekend. Lots of assorted painting including the shed and one coat of the lounge room, tiled the laundry, replaced many door handles.

I will probably put light and bright tile-like vinyl in the kitchen. Carpet to the other rooms. The bathroom will have a white floor similar to the laundry, and I gotta install a rail and shower curtain because it's cheaper than a custom order shower screen.

Still need to repair the sliding door, leaking toilet, remove the oven, and get an electrician in to get the external lights up and running.

I'd love to put a porcelain tile like this tmp_7016-IMAG08191887563628.jpg in the kitchen but it's probably not worth the time or money..

Vinyl ranges in widths and price from around $15/m up to $50+ but best to find something to match the width first to avoid joins

My shower is a unique size so it's custom or nothing. I choose nothing.

I reckon I'll go a light coloured vinyl - makes the room look bigger. If it's just peel & stick then I'm golden

I can't find anything that will fit - the space is 960 x 715 mm, where the 960 is the door side and 715 is the width of the bath. Will probably need a 3-part sliding door as well due to the small space..

I'm going to get vinyl tiles in the kitchen for $495 installed - one of the styles attached, I haven't decided yet. I would appreciate opinions.

    Updated to-do list:

    Bathroom:
    Replace damaged tiles
    Retile bathroom floor
Replace sink with nicer vanity unit (vanity has been purchased)
Add shower screen (if I can find one)

    Laundry & Toilet:
    Grout floor tiles, add splashback
    Tile toilet
    Fix leaking toilet

    Bedrooms:
    Add carpet
    Finish painting interior of BIR

    Kitchen:
Disconnect gas oven and add vinyl floor, paint splashback, put oven back
Paint interior of wooden cupboards for a cleaner fresher look
Fix roller door and screen door

    Living & Hallway:
    Add carpet
    Finish painting walls in lounge

    Outside:
    Reattach the shed door
    Build a ******* gazebo
Remove rust from pergola and paint posts
    Clean gutters
Connect outdoor light to exposed 240V wire
Replace fluro lights in shed and pergola
Fix cladding that's coming away on the side of the house

I've now set an ETA of the 7th of August, meaning a total of 4 weekends or 8 days' work.

Hmmm ignore the bath for a minute. You'll get a 900 screen in on the door side, you can lose 60mm somewhere. Can you get 900 out passed the taps?

To lose the 60ish mm screw some alu angle on the bath across the top and vertical edge.

This sketch will blow your mind! But not not work depending on the vanity size:(

Decision on tiles would be easier if you could answer a few questions:
    1. aspect of kitchen. From which direction does the light come in? Where are the windows?
    2. Colour of cupboards and benchtops?

Cupboards are honey beige, benchtop is brown, splashback will be white. Light comes in from the window above the sink, the window in the lounge and the sliding door to the left. I'm thinking I'll try to match the sandstoney ivory colour of the laundry/bathroom floor tiles.

The shower area is about half an inch lower than the rest of the bathroom floor, I really don't have more than 715mm to work with because the vanity has to go somewhere

If that window is facing south I would go with the honey ivory colour you speak of (warm). If north (doesn't look it) I would go black or very light or black and white. Can't go wrong with ivory either way.

Heh I appreciate the effort! $670 for a custom shower screen w/ tri fold door is the best I can find.

The window faces west, the glass sliding door faces south. I can't decide if I want to match the kitchen floor with the other floor tiles, or with the hallway & lounge carpet. I might have to flip a coin

Posted just up above. I'm trying to narrow it down to the two in #2.

Here are my MS Paint visualizations :p

No fancy ms paint, trying to keep costs down. On the phone job ;)

I think go the lighter to contrast the lounge room, plus will make it feel bigger
    Or number 5 bottom
