In SA you need to renew the license each year plus complete any professional development modules if required

I got awarded the full course Cert IV in Property (Real Estate) and registered with the BLA as a Fully Licensed Real Estate Agent, not an RPLREA. A license is a license.

In NSW it's annual renewal of my licence with completion of 12 CPD points.

The Kaplan course is not a 4 assessment and phone interview in total for a cert 4 and diploma. I dont think we are talking about the same thing.

Typical government, about as complex and convoluted as could possibly be, I won't bother with TAFE......

Also do not loose any of your TAFE docs, I am having a hell of a time with one of my trades to renew lic as TAFE no longer keeps records past 10 years, a joke - I wish.

This seems more reasonable, will talk to them.

I found a couple that do it for about 1500, but going to wait to hear if there are extras etc before I say much.

    24 units completed (2 exempt, 4 competent, 18 RPL).

Do you want a urine test too?

Jeez talk about carrying on. Instead of gibberish half information you could have said "I got 18 out of the units as RPL" it would have made perfect sense rather than "Full course RPL" and other vagueness

I was thinking more the organisation - if its this cheap for this course then one would think it would be cheap for the rest.

@DaveM's post made it clear... Your posts were not helpful to others wanting to know how many modules is required until you said 18 modules RPL.
    Yes, yours was vague.

Thank you for your very helpful post Gockie. Dave didn't ask me how many units I did. I said I did 3 or 4. I said I got the rest RPL. I said it was a certificate IV. If you think there are only 4 units in a certificate IV then you probably aren't capable of passing one. I answered the questions being asked by Dave. Maybe his questions weren't clear....

    Helpful message to assist OP.

Clearly stating I only had to do 3 or 4 units and got the rest of the course as RPL.

    Even more detail. All true.

    Question from Dave.

Accurately answered. Not one word of a lie. When you complete a course with RPL you still get awarded the full qualification. The education body are satisfied you are competent in all units in the course.

    Question from Dave.
Answered accurately. Making the point that the route travelled is far less important than the end result.

    Statement from Dave.

Responsce. You might say it's short. You might say I'm over repeating the same stuff because it's not sinking in. I completed the course. I did 4 units by assesment and the rest by phone interview. It satissfied the education body and it satisfied the BLA.

Dave still not happy wanting evidence. Dave getting very technical and asking a direct question of the unit number because Dave was not satisfied I could possibly be awarded the same qualification as him from the same education body by only completing the 4 units and getting RPL for the rest.

My response the exact course number and how many units.

@Cactus. Yes ok. But it was helpful to me to know you got so much RPL (And it was nearly the full course).

It was this post above that caused the confusion as it said you did not use RPL and gave the impression to others that you can get a full license with 4 units of study and a phone interview.

I have no real interest in debating this any longer and reading snarky comments and have moved on, you have your license good stuff thats all that matters.
