Really? Although I often love what they do with the places, I find that Chip really irritates me. And don't get me started on how much they charge! I find it funny that they will spend the entire amount of the purchasers budget, no matter how much work has to be done. We've seen shows where they've barely had to do anything & they'll charge close to $100k, and other shows where they've practically rebuilt a home for close to $50k. I can't see how the people in the first example are getting their money's worth.

 

Indeed, the rest are intolerable with their accents and Captain Obvious statements! Haha.

Chip reminds me of myself so can tolerate him a bit more Don't really pay much attention to the figures but have to now that I tube mentioned that. Maybe it's a contract with the producers who are the ones paying?

 

Chip irritates my wife also, I don't mind the fella and his wife does an awesome job with design

Just watched "Good Bones" today which is new to me, whilst enjoying some Thai Chicken Soup for lunch

 

Chip makes me giggle. He doesn't think before he speaks. Like the other week he was describing the bird cages in the window...as a Bird Aquarium. Wife straight faces replies ...parrot fish??? Its those interactions really get me giggling.

 

Oh, they're all toolbags.
But I still watch it.

 

I watch it for the ideas ...

 

Channel 2 Sunday nights is Grand Designs.
