i just saw a promo for an upcoming channel 7 story.

The emphasis on a new buyer who drives a Maserati taking the land from those that can’t afford it.

Typecasting and Discrimination is not ok between
    Male vs female
    Religions
    Colour of skin
    Age
    Disadvantaged
    Ethnicity
    Intellectual ability

But if someone drives a Maserati. The ******* must be an evil money grabbing home wrecking thief with no morals.

People on this forum typecast all the time!

But, besides that, why not watch the program before making a judgement!

No but seen the promo. I assume its about Joe Bloggs missing out on a house because he was outbid; woe is me type stuff.

Adding info like the outbidder had a nice car or other properties is purely for dramatic effect.

That’s why I drive my $1200 Mustang powered V8 Ford Explorer most of the time and keep the good ones for going out socially.

It’s nothing to do with the story, it’s the vindictive condescending comments against someone who drives a Maserati. Watch the promo and then you will understand.

It’s the “Eat The Rich” attitude that is offensive.

You are sounding more than a little over sensitive!

No need to take the promo personally.

It’s the TV equivalent of click bait! And it’s Channel 7 - who watches or believes them anyway?

Masterati is my favorite car, would love one of the new models! I had one about 20 years ago but nobody thought I was evil then :)

I do hate that type of program/journalism though that will spin any angle to beef up a rubbish story.

I was bashed about 10 years ago in Main Street of Wentworthville, bloody face, torn business shirt, the guy ducked into a shop as I called the Police.
When they came, the lady Police officer came to my car a Mercedes convertible and before saying hello said “I can tell who the guilty party is”. How would you feel.

Yes, I believe a lot of people regularly make preconceived judgements about our fellow man. I think it is unjust, wrong and there has to be a stop to it once and for all. There is no basis for this discrimination.

Believe it or not, I have been subjected to this sort of behaviour. Once an agent rejected my offer for a townhouse only to give it to a clean cut buyer with a similar offer!

I was left with no option but to smoke the Commodore tyres outside the open house and give the one finger salute as I sped down the street.

I would say the police comment was unprofessional and I hope you said so at the time. (What had prompted the fight?)

But not really a reason to overreact to an unrelated click bait story 10 years later.

I’ve been bashed 5-6 times from high school to 10 years ago.
In the70s anyone who was migrant looking (I’m Italian) and effeminate ( I have the lisp that is commonly called a gay lisp) was up for it in the Blacktown Area.

Were they your doughies on the Bogong High Plains Road down near Cranky Charlie's? A pretty good effort with 4 x 360's and a 100m fishtail in a couple of places. :D

There's the 'Undies wall of fame' just before Cranky Charlies - I would have thought you'd be a regular contributor.
