It's not really a suburb, it's a small town stuck between Gatton and the Toowoomba range.

BTW, your link above didn't work for me?

Just re-loaded. $358k per week rent on average. Not bad!

I stand corrected! :) Buy, buy, buy!

Same. 385k a week is no good, will pay too much tax on it.

Meh I don't care about the CG with that rent/yield, it would out perform Sydney easily.

11 home sales in a 12 month period? Hi probability that you won't make your money back.

I think a few are not opening link, if the figures are correct (obv not) I would make my money back in 1 weeks rent, a 270k house is apparently renting for 18000000 a year......

Tony this is the internet. You don't need to open links to know what's going on in an article.

Sorry just got the NBN to extend out to the amazon rainforest which I had to pay for.

Good news is I am connected again.

I haven't had any capital growth but I will hold out until then I will just have to keep collecting the rent. The portfolio is only slightly positive gear after my NBN antics.

Actually, in this case, yes, you do.

For those who have missed the point, another RE.com typo...

Helidon is a town in the Lockyer Valley region of southeast Queensland, Australia. Helidon is located on the Warrego Highway, 106 kilometres (66 mi) west of the state capital, Brisbane, and 21 kilometres (13 mi) east of Toowoomba. The town had a population of 1,053 at the 2011 census.[1]

Helidon is known in Queensland for its high quality sandstone, used extensively in private and public buildings in the state and elsewhere, including Brisbane City Hall, and sought after internationally for its quality, especially in China.[2] Helidon is also the location of a natural mineral spring[3] whose products were sold by the Helidon Spa Water Company.

You are better off in Toowoomba itself,
