    Brisbane 65%
    Gold Coast 31%
    Toowoomba 4%

    After restructure (should be completed by this time next year but using today’s values):

    Brisbane 52%
    Gold Coast 43%
    Toowoomba 5%

    Do I think SEQ is going to boom in next 12 months?

    I don’t know but we will take it if it does.

    We are old-style B&H investors. Most of our properties were bought in trusts and these trusts still have up to 50 years before they vest.

    I reckon our properties will be worth a lot more in 50 years time.

    I hope so as we are trying to create a huge CGT for our grandchildren :D.

    If you can achieve those returns in Arizona that is great.

    Also your wife US citizen??? why not look at getting loans in US and leverage???? Is this a possibility

    I don't think its too late for US market as it continues to soar and if you are cash flow from day 1, then why not.

    An ex-prince put me onto a good thing in Lagos which was going great guns until he was deposed then I found out that it was no longer the capital and had to buy up more in Abuja.

    These are all jvs as I needed a local on title (& to pay the officials at the titles registry).

    He still keeps in contact and sending me more market insights. :confused:

    Previously 2011-2012 (66% Perth, 34% Brisbane). Will Probably look back at Perth at some point.

    Busy with full time employment, building my triplex (also ppor), planning approval on a two lotter and moving the last few of my H&L packages. I also took a big hit on the share market with a poor over weight investment that in hindsight as simply high stakes gambling. After that I’ve been head down bum up trying to focus on my properties and converting my H&L contracts to cash to fund my ppor development.

    Not to worry an expensive lesson but a lesson all the same. Been making some silly gains of small deposits in the melb outer growth areas so can’t complain too much. Many people lose that kind of money don’t get up so easily.
