I just got my latest car registration bill and I had to check that I still have a pulse. For a 4 cylinder car, it is $745. I must be out of touch, I thought it used to be about $500 The motorbike is $502 and the camper is the same as the trailer, $110 What do you pay in other states?

I am one of those Public Servants (Teaches Aide on around $30k per annum) and I was given quite a substantial improvement in my conditions with our new EBA, but there is a twist. Just because any specific EBA has been agreed to by the unions and the relevant government department, the whole proceedings have been held up indefinitely...blah blah blah. Confidentiality clauses, Code of Conduct and all that.
