I sold two properties earlier this year and used Velocity conveyancing. They were appalling. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Caused me significant stress, delayed settlement by weeks - by not realising the discharge form for the bank hadnt been completed until the day of settlement. I was buying another property at the same time and needed funds to complete - their care factor was 0.

I sold in March.. this week I received an overdue bill for rates for the last 6 months. Im presuming it was their job to inform the govt I sold.

 

I used KJB Law (Karen Watt, their conveyancing persion) in Woden when selling. I also asked Jo Twible, one of their principals for advice early on. Would use again and Karen was thorough.

 

I used Shane from Absolute Conveyancing, very nice guy, works alone and is priced right

 

Shane does a good job.

Sole operator - down to earth, good attention to detail and reasonable prices.

Tell him I said g'day if you use him.
