    Next week great for me. It sounds like next Thursday is gaining momentum. Uni pub (cnr University Ave and London Circuit opp the Reserve Bank, near Civic Police Station) also good?

    There will always be somebody who can't come.

    As long as you have some people at least, set it in concrete.

    Then perhaps make a regular event, say first Thursday of every month (or every odd month or something).

    Turnout is generally poorer in winter, especially at night. Don't expect crowds. Even 3 or 4 can have a good discussion.
