    hi guys,

    quick question,

can i "rebuilt" a semi detached house ?

    torrens title,

what do i need to know ? council ? neighbours approval ?

anything i should look out for, cause there is a massive common wall, i am assuming is not as straight forward as a stand alone house.

goal = single storey convert/rebuilt into double story.

Ihave been looking at that one every day on the way to work and I always wondered what the story was but I didn't realise it was actually attached I just thought it looked a bit weird and I thought it was something commercial

@Scott No Mates YASS! I thought it was a meme, photoshop or at least overseas pic but just went on google streetview and found 1 of them. Classy design work.

The entire block was rezoned from mostly industrial (Sanitarium Health Foods/Flour Mill and a few others) to high density. Many of the buildings are absolutely brilliant including the commercial component (heritage building) and the conversion of the old silos into units. The pair of semis in question had been in the news (domain) previously. The pictures are the same building.
