Can you do extension/ modification on unit?

    I know you can't touch stuff like townhouses but what about unit/ semi detached houses? Can you do extensions easily or you are restricted to modify the structure? I am not talking about those multi level apartments style unit, more like sub divided units (single level) or ones that only have a side/ wall attached to neighbour...

    I think it depends on the body corp...each one is different.

    In a duplex here and have permission to add a patio and a third bedroom.
