Can anyone else bid or buy itnow that our offer has been accepted but papers havent been signed yet

we didnt yet do inspection or organise loan so hopefully that all goes ok
we were told to look at strata meetings or something maybe thats body corporate meetings that they would say an problems with the building

what is section 32 someone said something about a surveyor looking at section 32 or something

can anyone take it away from us now that our offer has been accepted , as long as we get our loan sorted asap etc

apparently our offer had subject to due diligence to our satisfaction, finance, buildingpest inspection but no time period eg 14 days , was put with our offer and with our subject to due diligence
so what does that mean does that mean we are not under duress to hurry with our due diligence if we didnt put a time period?

No sign = offer not accepted yet = no contract.

Have you put in an offer and have you received back the signed response from the vendor?

If so - since you are in Melbourne, you have three days cooling off period to check the building etc.

You can withdraw in those three days for no reason and you only lose a very small amount of money.

Not sure if not specifying a period for getting the building checks done means you can take as long as you want. I'd be surprised.

Hang on, you sound like you don't even know what is in your own offer...? Did you write up (or instruct someone to write up) your offer or not?

And if someone wrote it up for you, then hopefully they can explain the effect of their drafting...?

Yes, someone else can buy it. You need to sign a contract.

Sounds like it is locked in then.

I know in WA if it is a "subject to sale" a cash offer can trump it so not sure if that is relevant in your case?
