Current entrepreneur owners purchased for 750k on 5/6/14 and sells a year later at 960k. A yuppie and their money are soon parted I suppose. RP data lists the property as Teneriffe so calling it "New Farm" may have added an extra 100k.

I actually thought there was a mini Barrier Reef somewhere when I first moved to Brisbane when I heard people saying "Tenner Reef".

    HI Bryan,

Primary reason, i'm paying 5K plus land tax in Victoria and buying one more lead to 9K plus.
After reading SS found lot of them were purchased in South side of QLD.

So i'm looking something under 600K to add to my assets and looking for CG.

Youch. Are the properties all held in the one entity name? (eg your own name) Or in multiple entities? (eg own name and SMSF). SMSFs qualify for a land-tax-free-threshold...

Not sure who you're asking, but I'll jump in.
Just had a quick look, only 2 bedrooms of course, looks like it previously sold for $430k in 2010.
Block size 607m2 is Ok, council land value $420k, might be Ok for future development?

Oh, Mt Gravatt is great. No idea about rental yield off the top of my head - you know how to find this yourself right?
