    Hi there,
Kindly recommend Buyer’s agents that you have used for buying properties in north west brisbane especially around Keperra.
    Thanks.

Andrew Allen and Karen from Zest have both helped my clients in the past.

    Cheers

Whichever way you go, it's great you're considering the use of a BA! As with most professional advisors, you'll get a better outcome more than likely.

I've worked with a few BAs in Brisbane in the past, all have been highly professional and regarded. Provided you do your due dilligence it's also important to find one you 'gel' with personally.

    Good luck!

    Hi,
I have purchasing across North Brisbane for the past two years. I recently purchased one in two in Arana Hills last month and one in Ferny Hills this month.

Thanks all...we used Simon Loo for our IP purchase and couldn't be more happier with our purchase.

Andrew Allen from Allen Real Estate OR Karen Young from Property Zest would be on the top of my list for Brisbane. They both seemed friendly and upfront and I have learned a lot from them.

Make sure you ask plenty of questions and see if your strategies align with theirs.

Hi All, rather than start a new thread... I'm also looking for a buyer's agent in Brisbane area. Moreso inner 5-8km suburbs eg: Greenslopes, Coorparoo, Carina, Holland pk (sthside) and Bardon, Ashgrove, Wilston, Grange etc (nthside). Not sure if those already recommended here cover these suburbs aswell.

Any recommendations most appreciated. Thanks :)

Stop competing with me! My search is frustrating enough already! :D

Our suburb list is almost identical.

Oh there is more than enough to go round! Maybe we could end up most excellent neighbours and together we would raise the value of our suburb and we could also have a big street party or something?

We just successfully utilised Andrew Allen’s services in those areas. Recommended.

I bought late last year in one of the suburbs mentioned using Allen Real Estate, after reading recommendations from a number of PC members here (hopefully they will not ask for finder's fee:)).

Very happy with the process and the outcome - highly recommended.

Hopefully not hi-jacking too much here, but of these popular/recommended agents, what sort of $ range will the fees be typically?

And do people prefer to choose a local specialist, as opposed to a larger agent with national coverage? In my case, I'm probably more open to other markets, and was looking at a really well known, Sydney based buyers agent who does a lot of buying through Brisbane. In my scenario (still starting out, not going in fixed on the one specific market, but being directed towards Brisbane), would this be a good approach, or would people suggest trying one of the locals?

    Thanks!

I am based in Sydney and have always been wondering whether it is better to get a Brisbane based local buyer’s agent or a Sydney based buyer’s agent who has experience in buying properties in Brisbane.

The obvious advantage with the former is that the Brisbane based agent would presumably have better local knowledge. Having said that, if one is looking to buy in regional Queensland, I am not entirely sure whether there is any major difference between the two because neither of these buyer’s agent will inspect the regional property for you in any event.

I bought in Brisbane through BA twice and I’d do it again.

Yes, definitely get the ones based in Brisbane. How can they inspect if they are not there??

I would only consider the national buyers agent if they had a full time employee on the ground in the location you’re looking to buy. Otherwise I would go with the locally based agent.
