    My 2 cents worth is: If you give "your friend's" specs on the property he/she wanted and post it here, you don't need to spend money on a BA. There are more than enough good advice to be shared if your specifications are clear. So the BA fees can be used to throw a good house-warming party. :D Hopefully the Perth members got invited...

    BA fees are totally unjustified unless they are getting you off market discounted deals in my opinion.I had hired one who would simply send online listings and lacked comprehensive investment analysis that you would expect from a professional.

    We used a BA for an IP purchase mid/late (it took a little while to find the right one )last year in Perth. I couldn’t have been happier with the result. We gave them the brief, they executed that as well as purchased the property for a lot less than I would’ve put my offer in at. They were one of the more expensive ones but as I’m getting on a bit I’m happy to pay for sound advice and knowledge and certainly felt I got my money‘s worth.
