QLD Building inspection

Hi all
I am looking to buy my first home in Bellbird Park, Brisbane. I have done a property inspection yesterday and got a report. In the report there is a few major defect. Brick pier is moved away from garage door? Is that ok to buy that property. I have attached the photo. Could anyone please help me

Wouldnt your first call be to the inspector? Always follow up an inspection report with a phone call to talk through it.

 

Thanks for your reply, Inspector told me to get a structural engineer to check.

 

Would depend on the age of the house and what else is in the report as some.of those houses in that area would be over 25 years old ..imho.

Doesn't seem catastrophic right now, but subsidence in the foundation is a major risk with that style of home- especially in Ipswich. You should look really carefully at that buy before proceeding.
