Hi All, I'm looking for a PPOR with my wife (looking to have one child in the medium term). We're looking at townhouses in the Brunswick area (3 bed, 1 or 2 bath, 1 or 2 car) - i.e. around the brickworks (west side of Sydney Road) or more likely in pockets north of Barkly Square (east side of Sydney Road). Budget is up to $1.1 mil, but prefer to spend less. Wondering if anyone have any thoughts/experience? While this is our PPOR we'd still obviously like it to be a reasonable investment and liveable - noise, busyness, resale potential, etc. Would love any insights. Cheers!
My friend and his wife and toddler are in Brunswick. They regret moving there as it's a very busy suburb for young families, just something to think about.
