Broken Ceiling Fan, who pays?

    tenant's responsible but why not just replace the blade. try to find similar fan on gumtree and just get the blade and screw in the 2 screws. it wont cost ya 350$ that's for sure.

    So I should have replaced the glass without knowing it was broken? Troll much?

    Already explained above, the damage is to the metal arm holding the blade, nothing wrong with the blade itself.

    Sounds like you need a new fan and a new tenant :D

    And maybe a new electrician $350 sounds a bit expensive for that job, especially considering you can buy a new ceiling fan from Bunnings from $40...! I think the last ones I did a few months ago were $180 supplied and installed in Brisbane.
