    Hello

Looking at Brisbane zone map, on the same street, some properties have LMR and others on the same side of the same street have LDR. Even though, one side of the street is LMR and other side of the same street is LDR. I wonder if we can apply for rezoning a particular property?

Hi @evisional2, I would think it's highly unlikely as the City Plan 2014 was a substantial and complicated revamp of the whole planning landscape, but its a question for a town planner - If you don't get a response from one on here, I can get a back of a napkin opinion for you if you would like - just let me know

No, you can't. Zoning can only really be changed through the neighbourhood planning process (or preliminary approval overriding the planning scheme - which is not going to help you). You can apply for uses that are appropriate to the LMR zone (like Multiple Dwellings) using the streetscape as justification but you will not have any luck with this as Council is very likely to refuse the DA.
