    I previously subdivided and built houses on new lots in Melbourne. What I found that there are builders which also handle town planning and subdivision. Typically, they are family company. Father is builder, children are town planner and surveyor. They communicate with each other to archive the most effective building cost and meet the council requirements.

    The builder firm redraw the town plan which was previously drawn by another company. Accordingly, materials and labour costs are saved.

    These kind of companies are called "designer builder"

    I wonder if any such "designer builder" in Brisbane?
