i would also not suggest buying blind. The reason is that the qualitative factors ie experiential factors are often individual based ( difficult to outsource to an agent) and you need to evaluate yourself.
These factors eg tenant/neighbourhood quality etc can and do have an impact on potential buyer demand.
However....quite a few people do buy blind and have been successful. Dont know if that because of luck, DD of market reports/quantifiable numbers, timing the market, or something else...or a mixture. Whatever the case, i would think its more risky buying blind and need to be an experienced to minimise that risk...
interested to know what others think..?
ps. im keeping with the tried and true PC method of being off topic:)

    That's a good idea.
Which areas do you plan to visit?

East, north and south, not sure I am interested in west.

And anyone would like to have a meet in Brisbane?

Larry, it saves times to fly there then I'll rent a car from Brisbane airport, I am thinking about staying with Airbnb in a few different suburb I am tending to buy, maybe can chat with the landlord to know more about the suburb as well.

    The West is the best.
    Reminds me of a song.

Depending on your budget, I would suggest looking around Mitchelton, find a suburb that is still at or below its previous peak and do some more research on it.

Thanks, budge actually more depends on if it worth a investment, and rental return will impact the loan approve, let's say up to 800K, if it's really nice, I can move in for 1 year, Mitchelton seems pretty nice on the hill, rental yield not high, a brick house sell 600k+ rented $480, and someone has advised Brisbane people don't like dual living? Maybe because too many apartment and townhouse there?

Mitchelton is a really good spot, especially if it's to live in.
But it has had a bit of growth already recently.
