Hostplus have a 'Balanced Fund' and there's one that barefoot investor says is the cheapest super 'Index Balanced Fund'. I'm guessing the one that tops the list here is the more expensive 'Balanced Fund'?

Don't need to contact the super fund, they're time wasters.
Step 1: Just sign up to the super fund online (after reading the PDS).
Step 2: Once your new fund account has been set up, get your employer to pay super into your new account.
Step 3: Log into your 'mygov' account, you should be able to see 2 super accounts under your name. You will have an option to transfer across from old super account to the new account.
