Of late I've been downloading and listening to podcasts when flying somewhere or at night to wind down rather than watching TV

I usually do a workout each evening, even if just a quick session, as i find it help's me sleep

Origins of the Second World War - AJP Taylor. Changed my perspective on political history of the last century and what you're taught by MSM/mainstream history. Lead into my university degree/tertiary education
Value.Able - Roger Montgomery. Fundamentally defined my understanding of investing and determining value.

    My current fascination is with:
Churchill, Hitler, and "The Unnecessary War": How Britain Lost Its Empire and the West Lost the World - Pat Buchanan. Reinforces and extends from what I've read from AJP Taylor.

I don't really need to feed myself mindset books, I'm more about having a better perspective of where the world is at, what things we're taught/told and what things we're not.

    Same.

Also 'Making Money Made Simple' by Whittaker.
Basically just books that preach the concept of spending < you earn and investing the difference and waiting for time and compound interest to do the work.

"Making Money" by Paul Clitheroe. Read it as part of a uni general education course in my early 20s, and it was the first real exposure to real world finance.

A bookseller conducting a market survey asked a woman - "Which book has helped you most in your life?"
The woman replied - "My husband's cheque book!!"

I've read a lot of great books but as for life changing, I would say Atlas Shrugged. I had preconceived ideas about work and money prior to this book and it helped me become more open minded. Some people seem to hate the ideals that the book is based on, but I'm not sure they are getting the true message.

Also, Getting the Love You Want by Harville Hendrix. Such a cheesy self-help title but it helped put my childhood into perspective in terms of relationships. So glad I read it before I met my husband and got married. Actually, I probably would never have ever married if I didn't read it.
