Also (re: installing/removing Ledger apps) in case it's not obvious, once you use a PC/Ledger app combo to generate your public address for a given coin, you can send money to that address at any time. The app does not need to be installed at the time of receiving coins.

You only really need the app installed when you want to send money from one of your Ledger wallets.

You also need the app installed if you want to use the corresponding PC Ledger app to check balances, but you can do that via any blockchain website e.g. Bitcoin Block Explorer - Blockchain for BTC.

BTC steadily heading back up to $10k!

I just started a B portfolio after realising that my A portfolio was basically an index fund (top 8 coins). B portfolio has a spread of 6 coins from the recently surging IOTA down to Power Ledger... guess you could call it a small/mid cap fund :)

I got some Bcash last night and soon after, dropped. Good thing I'm a HODLer. Same for BTC. Wonder if I should load up more ETH.

Only bought litecoin itself so far. However I did have my first crypto transaction today, received some eth from a friend.

As far as purchasing from a store goes, I'd have to first transfer some coins to the Coinomi app on my phone, although it only supports 6 of the 15 currencies I currently hold.

That's the good thing about using spare cash to begin with... I can hold for as long as I need to :p

I really like the fast transactions with the coin. I've never bought anything with it though, but i do trade it. Its been bouncing between $54USD and $64USD for weeks now. So just buying on the lows and selling on the highs.

    Mining experiment report....
Finished a week of mining today. Had my 16 core, dual video card beast on the job 24/7.

The final score is 0.0001 litecoin....

Was fun to learn and took a few goes to get the balance right....but still....not exactly a raging financial success....:)

The best way to accumulate bitcoin is to actually earn it. Get paid with it :)
