Thanks, appreciate it. A couple of new builds sold for $850K in the street on 420 blocks. This one is 5 min walk to station and 10 min water. Looking to buy and hold for the very long term, 20-30 years. Agent has come back just now with $310K.

 

This property is 800 metres from Beth Boyd park. Thanks for the tips! At $310K, it is looking like a good buy. You can hear the trains, but living in Ashgrove, maybe I am just not used to rail noise.

 

Tip: People may read your post and decide its a good buy for them... So maybe make your posts more vague and generic...

Thanks Under land value. Took 8 months to find this one, I focus on several areas and negotiate hard. Put lots of contracts on until I got this one. Needs work, more than I would usually take on. Don't think I will go wrong here.

 

I just searched on re.com and looking for 2/1/1 houses or better, there’s only 1 currently for rent in Birkdale. (Gotta say, I'd love to move up there for the winter... anywhos)...
And house prices are moving in the right direction!
