Going against the grain of the kind of series mentioned here. My daughter and read the Anne of Green gables and loved the book. So started watching Anne with a E.
Loved it. The 1900s homes, attire, tools, utensils, etc is just so good.

You may be interested in The Good Fight, which is a spinoff. It's much more political, don't watch it if you're a Trump fan.

It originally aired on SBS, but the original three series are no longer available there - it may be on Stan. Series 4 has been shown in the US, and apparent will be available on SBS this year.

I'll go against the grain and say I didn't like it. I watched the first series, and it was ok - but going into series 2 I found her character very annoying - she talks too much.

    Btw it's on Netflix.

Granted. But that doesn't mean I find it any less annoying to watch though.

Okay okay. When you have two daughters who talk as much, if not more, you won't mind Anne talking as much ;)

Hehe. I do. I don't need more on TV.

And what's more, they're both politically passionate. And express their opinions strongly and frequently :)

Btw The Good Wife originally aired on Netflix but it's no longer available there.

As far as I can see, it's available on subscription Network 10.

Where are you streaming it from? Are you using a VPN?

Could anybody posting about a series in this thread please post about where it's available from? Some of these series sound really good, but if anybody who's interested wants to watch, it becomes a chore to find out about where they can watch it, especially with streaming site proliferating.

I find trump very amusing, and as for how good he is a political leader, I have no interest, but I do love a good drama, I started watching a house of cards thinking "uh oh, Im going to be asleep within 15 mins", absolutely loved it

I will watch the good fight next too!

I havent gotten on the Streaming bandwagon as im quite IT illiterate
I download them from torrents, let me know if you want to know which torrent site I use

edit: personal preference, but I hate watching new series that I have to wait a week for one new episode, it absolutely drives me crazy, plus I cant keep up, so I ensure all the tv series have come to an end or near the end before I start watching :)

A bit like Big Little Lies. Themes of benign racism in there. Interesting drama

My sister noticed that 'Highlander' came up on my list last weekend. She asked if we were watching it (the series).

My wife responded that it's been on loop since we got married (20 years ago).

BTW, this is not an endorsement of anything at all.

Neighbours , even though it's probably mentioned on all 25 pages but l'm not reading them.
Doesn't get much more cringe worthy than that , and to think the whole world thinks that's Australia and Australians , that's far far beyond cringe.

Binge worthy on the other hand, sadly because l go for unusual stuff it usually never runs long enough for some serious binging , and then it just ends. Times like that your thrown back to the reality with a thud in the middle of nowhere realizing some writers and studios somewhere in the world have to write and make more of it if it's ever going to continue , or make up a proper ending , or something, but it's not gonna happen ,,,,painful :(
