Although some of those accents were pretty terrible

Ok, I see what you mean now. Americans doing Australian accents. Ugly.

The creator, Michael Schur, says that the bad accents are deliberate.

There's an article in the NYT about Australia as depicted on US TV. Ozark has referenced australia as well.

Two and a half years late to the party, just binged on Stranger Things 1&2.

    ... In The Good Place.

Well, that was one report. Here's a different report.
'Good Place' Creator Michael Schur Didn't Know The Aussie Accents Were That Bad

I'm not enjoying this series as much. It seems to have lost direction, and is just searching for jokes. It's not finding many - although there are a few gems somewhere in there.

There is Halcyon but that's Canadian.

There's also The Halcyon which is British - I assume it's the second one?

The Halcyon appears to be on ABC iView, but the first two episodes are no longer available. Are you watching on ABC, or streaming from elsewhere?

Each to their own, but my wife and I couldn't make it through season 1.

    Das Boot on SBS catchup.

I also binge-watched all the series of In The Line of Duty.

I have never really been a fan of space shows, maybe I just never gave them a chance, but I started binge watching The Orville (available on SBS On Demand). It's very funny and it introduces / parodies some moral dilemmas that are very relevant to current times.

Babylon Berlin, one of the most addictive series I've ever watched!
Downside for most of you will be that it's in German (dubbed English and English subtitles available).

Ozark on Netflix is worth the watch. Weird to see Jason Bateman in a 'serious' role.
