    I think they are super-emitter with how quickly they update Windows and other products

    But hang-on, maybe Apple is the Super-Super-Emitter...

    I still havent got over the fact that he got married at 38 and thought surely he knows what he wanted.
    And now at 65, hmmm...

    Dating the boss is still one of the best jobs going.

    Melinda was dating the her boss shortly after she started at MS in 1987.
    "Months went by before, meeting her in the Microsoft car park"
    OMGZ!! what a coincidence. Must be fate :rolleyes:

    They got married in 1994 when Bill became the richest man in the world.
    She probably realised by then she could'nt do much better and probably still have them on the side.
    And of course she stopped working after she got married, her job was done. Bill can keep working.
    She was the dutyful wife making sure she was in charge of spending hubby's wealth, and taking the credit.

    Maybe a Mid-life crisis ,at 65 Mr Gates would be thinking how many weekends he has left in life as a lot of Men in that age range start to think different..

    Wow. You really have a problem with them.

    She didn't "stop working". She raised a family, which is a big job in itself. And she worked together with Bill in the foundation - something which she didn't need to do, and which may well have contributed to the marriage breakdown. She's not a trophy wife, she's been a solid contributor to their work together. She's perhaps the only billionaire's wife who has really been seen working, who has done things in her own right.
