    Hi all. Monday morning weigh in.

    I emailed myself my half finished spreadsheet only to find it doesn't like being uploaded on my phone. I'm going to start again on Kona's iPad today and will upload 2 weeks progress.

    Kona is half way through Queensland state selection for Netball. Possible and Probables games are this afternoon after 3 hard games today. We are hopeful she gets a crack this afternoon. Then only 2x games tomorrow to confirm any selections.

    Not much progress on the weight (down 0.4kg from last week), but 1.5cm drop in waist size - which is fairly consistent with my previous experience ... I'll typically see 3-4 weeks of weight loss followed by a week where I don't lose much weight, but my waist measurement drops quite a bit.

    Seems I'm going the wrong way.
    My waist measurement is likely due to bloating, not fat gain. I have a gut issue so when I don't eat right it turn into a balloon.
    Waist measurement was a remnant of that.
    Either way - I'm determined to make this week a better one.

    Not much change in weight this week. Thursday was our wedding anniversary and we went out to dinner and gorged ourselves but otherwise have been pretty good. Have done some kind of low or high intensity exercise nearly every day or every second day.

    Ha, you sound like my husband.

    I find if I put on weight or lose it my boobs are the ones that cop it the most.

    Little bit surprising as I have been flat out this week just gone and had 1 bad meal mid week and then was a bit relaxed on the weekend with my eating too. Also only I had time to squeeze in 2.5 exercise sessions which left me feeling a bit cranky during the week.

    I've been fiddling a bit and lowering my carbs, but today I'm 61.5kg. I can only assume that the hormonal changes in women after menopause make things not work like they might if I was ten years younger.

    I know for sure that (in my 40s) I lost weight easily with a high protein diet.

    I also know there is a test (blood?) that shows what my body would respond to. The dietitian I've been seeing says if he eats mostly protein, he would put on weight. If I eat mostly carbs, I put on weight. I'm tempted to get that test done.

    Not bad considering I had a couple of big carb days and haven't managed to get any significant exercise this past week. Coming week is likely to be just as bad with EoFY - hopefully things will settle down after that.
