Fittingly Queens Gambit won a Golden Globe, as did Anya Taylor-Joy. Well deserved.

Mars. Netflix. Short but sweet. But I'm a sci fi fanboy.

How about a fictional realisation of Elon Musks dream of Mars Colonisation? Including interviews with Elon himself and associated experts to add realism to the storyline.

I'm predicting a tsunami deluge of half decent movies coming soon with a few big ones all at once. So many movies were delayed and they cant all possibly suddenly screen. The pick of the top will be popular (Bond, Maverick, MI7 etc) and others make the rapid slide to foxtel, netflix, stan after brief release. Some are now being released to streaming (ie Coming To America 2) after waiting and waiting and giving up.

    Quiet Place 2
    Bond
    Top Gun : Maverick
Peter Rabbit 2 for the kids
    F9
    MI7
    Conjuring
    Venom
    The Jungle Cruise (??)
    Get Back
    Dune
and many many more lesser expected movies .....There is literally a 2 year backlog and more following (eg Thor in production now and a stack of others being filmed)

The 92 Most Anticipated Movies of 2021 << Rotten Tomatoes – Movie and TV News

and on top of this there are countless straight to streaming movies and series by streaming services on top eg Netflix - Money Heist 6 etc

I am betting Ghostbusters 44 with Paul Rudd is a streaming special.

Ah, a man of good taste. I keep telling people to watch this show. It had me in stitches.

Not sure others have enjoyed it as much as me but this is the first time I have seen anyone else recommend it.

I'm not surprised. Don't feel bad. Most people I have told about it dont (including my wife).

I work with many Scandinavians and I think I can associate with the nuances well.

I've been enjoying New Amsterdam on Netflix. Yes, another medical drama, with the medical director sweeping with a new broom - while fighting cancer itself.

New Amsterdam (TV Series 2018– ) - IMDb

Edit: all episodes also available on 9Now catch up TV, including episodes from the current season not yet available on Netflix.

Brilliant show. Just need to track down season 2 now. Doesn’t seem to be on SBS on demand.
