Not a lot of good oo suburbs for that price anymore. For good oo suburbs with water side locations Margate and clontarf, followed by Strathpine, bray park for non water side closer to bcc

Not many options left for under $600k.

I'd be looking to squeeze into Petrie or surrounds. Petrie & Kallangur would be my pick. Still some decent ones under $600k wont be for long though and the ones that are under $600k are flying off the shelves and sold after 1st open or 1st week.

South Kallangur and East Petrie would be my pick for serious CG potential over the next 10 years, thanks to the plans for the Mill PDA / University Precinct plans.

If you want proximity to the water - you will still get in that price range at Margate, Clontarf, Deception Bay ( in these suburbs aim for no more than 10 minute walk to the waterfront).
If you want proximity to the University campus - Petrie and Kallangur.

Look for older houses in good condition for renting now (no more than a basic cosmetic reno) but with potential to renovate and flip to owner-occupiers after land-banking.

Many suburbs in Moreton Bay are starting to gentrify (particularly near the waterfront).

I have been looking around in Kallangur, Petrie and around for a few weeks now. Cant seem to find any decent 4-2-2 on 600sqm block for less than 600k. Is it worth getting into the market as an investor at this price point in the area?
