Oh boy, that's a good question Jim... I'll have to think about it.

    Hmmm...

Probably Mogwai at the Sydney Opera House earlier this year. Huge post-rock sound from some guys from Glasgow in the main concert hall was a pretty surreal experience - even they were confused as to how it happened.

Bruce Sprinsteen and the E Street Band circa 1984.

Looking forward to Florida Georgia Line next year (just shows what ageing does to you).

Very few live gigs I've been to. Best have been:

U2 (back in the Joshua Tree days)
    Casiopea
Allan Holdsworth (playing at a local pub of all places!!)

Actually not a live "band" as such but Paco Pena and John Williams (guitarist) live on stage together - awesome!!!

Thats where the Spanish ñ can make a difference from n. His name is Paco Peña.

Pena is a pain or a pity (plus other meanings); peña is a rock or a crowd.

But English language keyboards make it difficult to use the correct letter.

I thought I was at that one, but more like 2001 for me. Anyway, was amazing.

I've seen Cat Empire and Michael Franti each a few times. One of those would be my pick.

How does one pick. All are good in their own way.

But I really liked Faithless, Jan 2002 at the Metro in Melbourne. Incredible energy and a good vibe.

Seen a few over the years but no one gets close to AC/DC.
Would have loved to catch Faithless too.

Mine would be Jimmy Eat World at the Enmore a few years back or Coheed and Cambria at soundwave, also a few years ago.

Not sure if it was the right amount of rum and a small venue but JEW was such a great gig, I had never experienced such an appreciative crowd. Saw Kings of Leon at the same venue 2 years ago and was very disappointed. Must have got the rum mix wrong.
