    Hi guys,

people who are fixing their rates now, whats the best rate you have found so far. I have been looking into it and found 4.09% with virgin money for 3 years. But that was before last week when some of the larger banks reduced their rates by huge basis points. Do I need to go back to the market?

Investor or OO? P&I or IO? $100k or $1m?

STG / Westpac had some great rates recently but they're now gone unfortunately

The CBA is the one that most people are talking about.

NAB is very competitive if you're asking the right questions to the right person.

It's constantly changing and as Morgs suggests, the type of loan can make a big difference.

Newcastle permanent 3.74% 2 year fixed P&I is a great deal going on at the moment. Probably <80% LVR although unlikely to last long.. Fixed rates appear to be going down

Suncorp did 3.99 fixed for 5 years with wealth package fees waived for life of the loan. Were still doing it a couple of weeks ago when I checked. Could also register as a loan introducer and get the referral fee yourself however I doubt they will be doing that anymore in light of what is going on in the industry atm lol.

(Was a first home buyers deal but they would probably do it for anyone if you pushed for it)

There's a thread around here somewhere. The rates aren't actually that special, but anything the CBA does gets attention.
