Hi all, Battler here, ex Somersoft. My story With next to no schooling and unable to read and write I started working in the bush over 40 years ago. For years each night after work I filled my tucker bag with dirt until one day I had enough dirt for a block of land so I built a house on it. After that I bought land when I could and built a house on it and rented it, I continued this for many years until I stopped buying and went back through most of them and built a second house dual occing the properties. I used minimal borrowings and paid it back as fast as I could, this allowed me to use multiple rental incomes to pay off each new house quite quickly. This has created a reasonably comfortable income in retirement living off the rent. I am not into cats, tightarses, or mindsets, and thankful that I can still actually think for myself.............
