    Hi All,

I am looking at doing a basic bathroom renovation for my IP in Tregear.

The bathroom will need tiling, bath, shower, vanity etc. Nothing fancy or flash. Very low budget.

I am happy to purchase all materials, so basically just need someone to put it all together.

I was just wondering if anyone has a recommendations for a good tradesman I can use?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,
    Robbie

I came across this guy. He looked pretty low budget.

When will you need it done? Is the property vacant?

Do it once and do it properly! I would get all sheeting pulled out and convert to single mixer, sheet up with good material, water proof and the rest.

What is your budget for all works?

@bob shovel The property currently has a tenant is place, but i would be looking at doing the job in the next 3-6 weeks.

@mickyyyy I would be looking between 8-10k for everything. This is about how much a spent on my PPOR bathrooms.

The problem now is tradies are charging through the nose in Sydney, have you asked your property manager if they have anyone that can do it?

Hi @robbie_p, just wondering if you ended up renovating your bathroom last year and if so would you recommend your contractor? Your post is exactly what I would of written. I need a quick, basic renovation. We’re happy to purchase materials, complete some of the demolition to reduce costs but need tradies to tile, complete the waterproofing and plumbing works. Look forward to hearing from you. TIA
