No... lace glued on and then jewels added. Anyone can do this. It is probably the easiest torso I've done.
Same mannequin bases I use for the glass ones, and same as the metal one too. Lace glued over, sprayed, jewels hot glued. Simple but looks pretty nice. I just don't think it has the same "oomph" as glass or metal, and that is probably because anyone could do this one.
hi guys, i'm looking for a simple or two artwork for a new office i'm leasing...any place I can go see? Budget $500 each piece. I know it's low but i don't wish to overcapitalise.
@larrylarry , Golden Geo set, 1,2 and 3. Any good? Heaps more there. Wall Prints Online | Wall Décor, Clocks & Mirrors | freedom
Fine Art America | Wall Art, Canvas Prints, Posters, iPhone Cases, and More is pretty cool but i am looking at locals.
Still in tidy up mode in the garage, going through boxes and paperwork to make some room, whilst doing so I found some old drawings I'd done
Depends what you're after - but Val (Maude's Madhouse) uses a wide variety of mediums and techniques (pen and ink details right thru to large oil abstract) and can commission near on anything you want. These two paintings are 1mx1m and cost me $400 for the flowers - and $500 for the city. The colours in the city are a lot brighter than they photograph, and she used silver leaf on around 1/3rd of the windows so they "glisten" when catching the sunlight.
p.s. - Wylie's amazing metal mannequin now sits proudly on my bedroom dresser - the glass mosaic one is currently in my library and has appeared in every house sale photo shoot since it came into my possession around 10 years ago. I lurve supporting talented Australian artists
