I take note of your critique regarding the wine rack Lizzie, but the designer doesn't mind it the way it is.ha,ha.Love your daughter's latest drawing effort. It's very well done.Terry.

I've dug another drawing up MTR (still quite a few sitting in an old box)This girl might be a bit harder for you to recognise. I had a bit of trouble picking out which photo to draw from, because she looked a bit different in each of them and she is also not very familiar to me although I have seen her in a couple of films. Yes it is Wyona Ryder MTR,(so you are unstuck now.ha,ha.)I didn't think you would get this one as although she is well known,I don't think you see much about her.I did this one for a friend who loved her performance in Girl Interrupted a good while back, although her look in that film was quite a bit different than this as I found out while searching for a reference pic.

Really nice, well done to your daughter . I'll have a closer look when l get home from Coffs Harbour in a few weeks (working here at the moment) as my old phone is getting pretty slow to navigate so l don't worry about the Internet much.

@Redwing now that's a cool idea, I have been considering putting my designs on babys clothes, also looking at making a book of my designs people can paint and line themselves using the correct technique materials and water colours.
With a step by step how to etc

Thanks Marisa for been polite,I'm pretty sure you would much prefer the film star type ones but I enjoy doing the boxing ones the most, as that is the game I've been involved in for a long time.

I did this attempt of Diana around 3 years ago when I first had a go at the drawing.Plenty wrong with it so I might try the same reference photo again one day to see if I can do her justice this time. 5299c6b340bf08b95405e99f_detail720.jpeg

Hubby spent the last two nights carving this nameplate from a silky oak chamfer board for our niece who settled on a house this week. I think he wants to refine it a little more, (or may leave it "as is") and just wax it, but I think it is amazing, and suits the 1890 house it will go onto.

It's been quite awhile since I've been able to find the time to do any drawing but was able to find enough time on my break home from Coffs Harbour to "almost"complete this rough one.I will probably spend a bit more time on it on my next home break in a month or so but it'll do for now as I'll be heading back in a couple of days and have lots to do_Our project up there has had lots of delays with the weather but we now are at lock up stage and water proof (on the inside at least, although the site has been a mess).
