All the best @Daisycutter4 for 2017 and beyond. Very grateful customer here and sad to see it go. We kinda grew up with the mag ( featured twice too I think) along our journey. Partner and I used to guess the stats at the back, then we would see who got closer while we were at campos. Fun times.

I'm sure you'll move on to bigger and brighter opportunities ;)

I joined one of the large media organisation two years ago. Declining print media revenue was shocking. Even though the digital revenue was going up, that was nowhere near to compensate the print decline.

It's sad isn't it. I remember pre Internet I would head to the newsagent every couple of weeks to pick up a magazine to get the latest news about whatever I was interested in. The editorial staff would really give the mag an identity, you just don't get the same feeling reading on the internet. I kind of feel sometimes that for everything good thing the internet has a given it us we also lost something in return.

    Right on the money, Biz.

If time theft was against the law, some social media proprietors would be making number plates in the big house...

Hey, I think this was my 600th post...

thanks @Leo2413, great find, this is actually the first time I see it.

( it is a bit strange, I am unable to see any ads from my computer, I am using Chrome. maybe @Simon Hampel could shed some light on it).

That would be because you are now a business member and that's one of the perks for premium / business membership - no ads! :D

If you want to see your own adverts, you can either turn on the "Show Adverts" setting in your preferences (this is what I do so I can keep an eye on the adverts), or else view the forum using Incognito mode in your browser (so you are logged out and browsing as a guest), or else just log out and view the forum - you'll see the ads when not logged in.

= Crowd Funding. Why not start with the data base here I am sure we could all chip in the required funds for a nominal return ;)

If hard working customers do not get a refund, well that says all that needs to be said about API...

Unbelievable to still advertise subscriptions right up to and after D-Day.... Very dishonest...

There would be no refunds as the company has gone into adminstration and it is unlikely there will be any money left over.

They may have been advertising but were they accepting new subscribers?

well I've been sitting in the dark like a mushroom.

I was thinking my subscription was a few weeks late, no letter, no email, and NO refund?

I just paid for another 3 years worth of subscription a 6 months ago!!

Has anyone been refunded their subscription?? what are our options

The company doesn't exist anymore - who is going to refund you?

Of course a business that is closing should directly inform their customers - even if just as a courtesy.

Quite bizarre that the doors just closed and the rest was done by the press. Someone should have stood up and made sure a notice was sent.
