Problem is, what would your legal basis be for a claim?

I believe they gave unlicensed financial advice to some but this would mean they are not covered by insurance.

The trustee could sue but would it be wise to place super further at risk. Demonstrates that a SMSF strategy can only blame the trustee/s who approve it and sign the docs.

As a member you could sue the trustee. who can use fund assets to pay a claim.
