Any tips for couples investing?

    I agree, there is no one size fits all.

    It was difficult for us when we started out, we had no sense of direction and no one looking over us (not even our accountants, solicitors, lenders...), so we had to learn things for ourselves, apply to our situation with the knowledge we had, make mistakes, learn...

    This strongly reminds me of a quote:

    "It is not the most intellectual of the species that survives; it is not the strongest that survives; but the species that survives is the one that is able to adapt to and to adjust best to the changing environment in which it finds itself" - C. Darwin

    An investor needs to adapt constantly in this economic world

    Good thread and interesting comments. Something I'm considering doing but does sound like a bit of a risky minefield.

    One tip that was suggested to me was to put all of the higher wage earners wage into the PPoR and live off the lower wage (as long as it's reasonable).
