    Hoppers was a not a housing commission suburbs.

    Werribee has some....it was called the bird cage...any streets with names of Birds were the ex houso lots. Mine is walk to station away from this area.

    And what are your thoughts of being in the bird cage, as opposed to not at all if the block is a decent size and not one of the cut offs being done everywhere Sash ?

    I noticed it looks like housing right between both.

    If you can get it cheap enough and base on that the Western freeway upgrade going ahead at some point and the East Werribee precinct up...if you take a long term view (i.e. 7-10 yrs) you should do well.

    35kms out - Melton...

    Oversupplied with rentals when I left (about 3/4 months ago), but cheap and possible long-term prospects??

    Think about at suburbs close to Sunshine and railways ( not in sunshine as don't think you will get that price range ) and you will find something ( if you try hard enough) - Plus it will be easy to rent due to the amount of capital works going on around there - and in another 7 years plus capital gain should also match most places in Melbourne or better. Just an opinion.
