So far, I only read Steve M.'s 0-130 properties, :).

Any other good property investment books you recommend, especially regarding property strategies, property tax technique, property wealth growth, etc.

I really liked 0 to $10mil in 10 years by Peter Spann
Jan Somers ones are oldish but well worth a read as the she explains the principles well, which haven't changed much.

I'd recommend reading a few to get an overall perspective. Yardney, Lomas, Slacks-mith. Kogteves, Somers. Often people read 1 book on cashflow and think they have found the holy grail.

With regards to tax I don't bother reading the books. I just have a tax pro. I'll know as much or be as good as him in that area.

I recommend "Barefoot Investor" as a good intro book. It's not really pro- property but it does provide people with a good foundation knowledge of savings, shares, super, saving on mortgages, wealth creation and etc.

If you are in Adelaide drop by my office in Ashford, we have an entire bookshelf full of investment books to give away. People come and take them. They have served their purpose for us, got us the kbowledge to build million dollar businesses and invest, now it's time to pass them on.

If you have anything to contribute that would help other people get on in life feel free to add one back.

I can't remember what's there but feel free to come and get what you want.

Agree with DT above re Jan Somers book - it's great at explaining the basics/fundamentals.

Having said that - this forum and all the content on somersoft is some of the best info relating to property investing in Australia. There's sooooo much content to soak up - and it's being updated daily.

    Cheers

Yeah, I liked Peter's first money book the most too, good beginner stuff. General advice, gets you to see how it goes together.
