I believe a small number of them. Early on had some hardware issues but after that I haven't heard of anyone suffering from it. I found it to be great.
Currently using a mate 10 pro which is great in its own right but the slick pixel software and immediate updates etc certainly made for a really functional phone

Also to be fair pixel was released in Nov 2016 in between the Samsung S7 and s8 releases and s9 came out March 2018 so hardware wise it was always going to be a winner as the processor is 2 generations ahead

Thanks Sanjay, I got the Spigen slim case, feel solid. Haven't dropped it yet, can't tell how good it is. It works really well with the curved screen protector

If we only looking at hardware, there are lots of phones are "better" than Pixel 2, however the 3rd party bloatwares kill the hardware advantages, and realiability is a big concern.

The slim armour? I've got it on my mate 10 pro and had it previously on mate 9, it definitely more than adequately protects the phone from general drops on all angles from say holding up to ear height. At least in my experience.. The incipio one probably felt a touch more robust with the 2 layers but was ever so slightly thicker and harder to acquire

Completely agree with your assessment and placing functionality over pure specs/hardware comparisons, the note 3 I think was the first non blackberry I used since. 2005 or so, for all their limitations the productivity boost was too hard to ignore

Keen to check out the key2 when it launches locally this month

Yes I did feel that when I was looking at the Pixel 2 (which was earlier this year) it was still too green for me but give it some time and improvements and it had the potential to be great.

Spigen cover I had was really good. It absorbs the shock well.
I have the cover with chip now. It shows Time & Date and also any phone notifications. You can configure it. I love the feature. Protects screen well as it is fully covered. However, it doesn't absorb shocks well.
My last phone's back was cracked inside.

I got the Spigen slim armour.

    Loving my Pixel 2xl.

But I loved the Huawei P20pro so much more.

The camera (3) Leica took breaking photo s .

But the Bluetooth didn't work in my car.

So Pixel and no more issues.

My opinion is that Pixel is the Apple of android.

I always root my Android phones and then uninstall any bloatware using Titanium. If I'm not happy with the ROM I'll download one from XDA forums for a pure Android experience without any bloatware.

Yes but you can reinstall the stock ROM if you need to take it back for any warranty issues

u can try to fix the bluetooth thing with an app.

you get one month free trial. then delete the app see if it works ..if it dont u just re download it every month.. but mine i just have to do it once and now it works without the app..

btw u dont need to do anyhting with the app it just helps u pair and share contacts between phone and car.

    My issues with P20Pro
Was stuttering when streaming to my car and Bluetooth head set.

I list to Youtube videos on my drive to work. I tried everything eventually retuned the phone and got the Pixel 2Xl

I much prefer the P20Pro but ..... Bluetooth was a deal breaker
