Let me know if you can find a good screen protector which covers the complete curved surface.

I have a protecting case, but I found out today that it doesn't protect the screen right in the corner, if your phone lands on just that position.

Don't waste your money, most modern screens don't need it, it fairly scratches resistance
I haven't use a screen protector on all my iPhone for the last 6 years, need a good clean with a damp warm cloth every so often

My screen has just cracked. Thats why I'm asking about a protector. Before I spend $300 getting it fixed.

A protector stopped my last screen from cracking.

I cracked the screen on my last phone when it was sitting in my pocket and I leaned against the corner of the counter in a store.

Now I make sure I have a case with a hard cover on it (I use the genuine Samsung case for my Galaxy S6)

I have a pixel one XL (19 months old - approaching end of life) and know the issue but I've just had it in an otterbox case where it doesn't matter.

Over time I have forgotten that I have a sexy high end slim phone in there but it is pretty much indestructible and fits my magnetic mount pad.

It's ironic how on youtube there are videos with people trying to scratch their phones with knives and screws and there is not one scratch.,but put the phone face down on a flat table and move it and the screen scratches in 100 places

    i have a pixel 2xl from launch.

honestly this current generations phones are less like to "crack" but much more ez to "micro" scratchs.

depending how ocd you are.. you might want or dont want a protector.

i used my phone naked and vanilla, i feel anything else takes away the experience,

nexus and pixel always been the best phones ever... apart from google's play store.. .dog's breakfast.

oh btw if u have google home and use assistance allot.. might wanna check out the privacy settings.

Did you guys try the camera? Unreal imagines

I bought a screen cover (didn't know it was a flat one until it arrived). Bought another one which is curved , on eBay, awaiting arrival.

The operating system is so clean, no floating wares.

Used to use diffwrwnt Android phones, this is the first time having a such clean IO. the best (cleanest brand I had ) was Moto G5plus, still not as good as pixel

I like the night time pictures, just point and shoot to get well exposed images without having to fiddle with settings, as I did on my previous phone.

The camera app itself doesn't allow for much manual control, but there are free apps available to do this. Having said that, I used manual controls mostly for night time shots. The apps though allow RAW to be stored. IMG_20180616_210338.jpg IMG_20180430_192856.jpg

I had a Moto G4 plus. After 14 months (with no extended warranty) it started turning itself off, up to 10 times a day. My wife's is starting to do the same after 16 months. That proves to be more expensive than an expensive phone - as long as that one lasts the distance.

    haha, true.

I liked G5 plus mainly because it is dual sim. but it freezes when I try to open a large email, and can be counter productive.

my previous phone contract finished, I thought it was a good time to look at what are available, the Pixel 2 XL appears as a good value, with some discounts, it comes at around $50/m, with unlimited calls, 20 G data, I thought why not. it turns out to be a good value so far.

I got the Google Pixel but had to return it and get something else. The Pixel was great at taking photos but it was terrible at being a phone. Static noise during calls, losing audio sometimes, and constant call dropouts.
