    3-4 revisions, making this the 5th?

    There is your answer as to why it took him a week to get back to you this time...

    Revision 1 - Added my name
    Revision 2 - Added my address
    Revision 3 - A bit more detail than just "Final payment"
    Revision 4 - Added description of floor board
    Revision 5 - Added description of underlay

    All these revisions had to be made because he wasn't willing to give me a detailed invoice in the first place. I would have happily waited for another week.
