    Hi Guys,

I have been researching numerous ways of finding properties for sale other then your typical Realestate.com.au/Domain.com.au. I feel this can be a great tool to land a great deal.

    - Gumtree.com.au, I found that some people have a go at selling themselves on here
    - Sell your own property websites e.g. buymyplace.com.au
    - Contacting local Council and ask when they have unpaid rate auctions or asset auctions.
    - Door knocking or letter box drop in suburb/streets that you are interested in
    - Finding local agents in the area that might not advertise online
    - Tell all local agents in the area of interest to give you updates on upcoming properties

If anyone has any other methods of finding properties would love to hear them.

I have had a real estate agent letter drop for me on a complex of 22 units. I had 1 bite and ended up purchasing off them for w pretty good price at the time.
I gave the REA a fee and kept using their PM branch.
