so what is actually required to do a proper "covid compliant" clean?
vacuum, 1x wipe down with of every surface with disinfectant?

Disinfectant as such isnt enough. Its what disinfectation agent you use and its strength. Bleach solution is effective if freshly made. (beware of overspray and use on textiles)

The Australian Department of Health says you should use a disinfectant that claims "antiviral activity", meaning it can kill a virus (such as chlorine-based and hospital grade disinfectants). (Glen 20 = Not really as it isnt strnng enough for CV but can kill a common cold virus) Glen 20 may only be suitable is the surface is bathed in Glen 20. Vinegar is equally useless.

This is different to an 'antibacterial cleaner'. Antibacterial cleaning products contain ingredients to eliminate germs and bacteria such as E. coli and salmonella. While you can still use these products to clean surfaces, the 'antibacterial' ingredients themselves will not eliminate COVID-19.

Its like detergent hand wash is not a suitable disinfectant hand sanitiser. Even if its clear etc. Dettol handwash is a good example. I see the empty shelves are wonder. Same with moist wipes.

Aged care is a good standard. Not sure about ceilings though !
