Advice regarding sale of Adelaide property in Fitzroy

    Hi all,

    A key overseas business partner of mine needs some advice on a property of theirs that has been in family for a couple of decades. It's apparently on a pretty large block but has been empty due to Ill relative moving out.

    Basically I no nothing about Adelaide market, need to speak to someone/people who do, to get feedback on current market, estimate value etc and best method of sale and recommended agent/s.

    Happy to pay for this advice or service if need be.

    Pls let me know if anyone can help or know someone who can.

    @D.T. , @Corey Batt , @DaveM would be a decent starting point to give you estimations on price potential etc, then would be able to point you in the direction of the best agents to market the property in the corresponding area.

    Fitzroy in Adelaide borders onto North Adelaide and is a 'micro suburb', ie only goes for a couple of streets.

    It is extremely premium - ie houses here do not come up for sale very often, and when they do people will give you blank cheques for them. Just about all of them are very grand - very character, very large mansions.

    1 Braund Road Fitzroy SA 5082 - House for Sale #123516286 - realestate.com.au is basically across the road from the CBD.

    Thanks, this is on a pretty large block, over 1000sqm but is an old house.

    Fitzroy is a nice suburb, with some large character homes very close to the city. Prices in that area have been rising over the last 12 months. For a block over 1000sqm I'd expect land value to be over 1 mil. Depending on the house it could go up from there.
