Hey legends, I am currently looking at an IP in Adelaide for max $600k. Purely looking for CG. I don’t know Adelaide suburbs well but from my research so far I have seen suburbs like Mitchell Park, Edwardston have been spoken about it. Have found a little gem in Hove I am interested in. We are going there next week and would like to drive through a few suburbs to get a fall. Anything under 15km from CBD seems to be reasonable. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

I'm old school...I'd just try and get as close to Glenelg as possible (house) so areas like Morphettville, Ascot Park etc OR up north, as close to Grange/Henley Beach/Tennyson so suburbs like Royal Park, Findon etc. Try and get a block > 600sqm with a wide frontage.
Thanks mate. We are staying in Grange and just been up at Henley Square for dinner. Great restaurant vibe, can certainly see why you’d want to get in as close as possible. A lot of character in the homes too. Will have a look at royal park and Findon tomorrow.
This went recently...reckon that was good buying. 21 Eldon Street, Croydon Park SA 5008 | Domain Auctions might be the way to go (in Adelaide anyway).
That seems like a steal. Auctions may not be so good for sellers in Adelaide. It was bought for $400k in 2015.
