WA Adding Tenant to Lease (WA)

    Hello,

    Just have a tenant looking to add an extra tenant onto the lease part way through.

    In the past I have just done up a new lease with the new people however is there another way without doing a whole new lease? Also curious about the process if an tenant was removed from the lease.

    In WA.

    Are you self managing? Can't the PM handle this?

    Personally I would just execute a contract variation rather than a new lease.

    Personally I would do a new lease agreement as you can't be sure the new tenant is in receipt of the original contract and its requirements.

    Also, you probably will need to lodge a Bond variation to the Bond Administrator unless the existing tenant is prepared to cover the full bond.
